How does it work? The Boosted board is a longboard, but instead of pushing with your feet, you can control acceleration and braking using a handheld wireless remote. It takes off from a standstill at the push of a button to reach speeds up to 22 mph. You can also kick push like a normal longboard when you run out of battery.

Boosted boards are a revolutionary way to get from point A to B. They’re lightweight and nimble, making them perfect for navigating the city landscapes of tomorrow!. The beauty of an electric-powered longboard is that it can take you as far as your heart desires without breaking a sweat.

Best Pick

Skateboards Complete 22 Inch Mini Cruiser Retro Skateboard
Skateboards Complete 22 Inch Mini Cruiser Retro Skateboard

This is a great product, very nice for people who are not used to skateboarding for beginners. Beginners can learn to ride this board with ease. The only downside I would say about the board is for some reason sometimes when you go at higher speeds (especially downhill) the trucks will make a slight creaking noise, but that’s only if you ride the board on certain roads.

The wheels are pretty good and give you some speed for those of you who aren’t used to skateboarding. So again I would say this is a great value for anybody wanting to try skateboarding without spending too much money.

Other than that everything on the board is very nice, it looks great even if you don’t have the grip tape on. The color of the board just pops out there’s really no need to get grip tape because it looks sick without it.

If you want to take it everywhere, this would be a great choice because of its compact size that easily slips into your bag while still being durable enough to last any commute or skateboarding session with kids!

Buying Guide

We all know the advantages of commuting on an electric skateboard and we also know how hard it is to find a good one. To make this process easier, here are some factors to consider before buying the best electric skateboard for commuting:

1) Your budget – what can you afford? It’s important to set a price range that you want your board in order for it be effective.

2) What do you need your board for? If you’re looking for more speed than carrying capacity, then look at boards with motors upfront. If you’re looking for something with more hauling power but needs less speed, then go ahead and check out models with motors in the rear or center of the deck.

3) How fast can it go? Electric boards are not really known for their speed, but they do have some capabilities. The average electric board can travel up to 25 mph and if it’s an above-average one then you might see speeds over 20mph!

4) What do you plan to use the board for? If you’re not into speed, then it’s better to get something that can carry more weight.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are electric skateboards good for commuting?

Yes, electric skateboards are the best option for commuting. They have no pollution and can easily carry riders with speeds up to 20 mph on flat surfaces without causing any disturbance or accident for other commuters.

Can you kick-push an electric skateboard?

It depends on the board. The majority of boards can be push-kicked, but there are some that you aren’t able to do it with because their motors are positioned in a way that prevents this technique from being used.

How do you control an electric skateboard?

The rider can control the speed of their board by controlling how much they shift weight. This is usually done through a wireless hand-held throttle remote or body shifting from front to back and vice versa while standing on it, depending upon what type feels more comfortable for you in any given situation – whether that be going fast or slowing down gradually as if landing after jumping off something high up into water at low tide then surfacing again quickly before getting hit headfirst with anything else!

Is Commuting on an Electric Skateboard Dangerous?

The danger would come into play if you had some type of accident with the skateboard and then the electric shock sent you flying onto the ground. To avoid this happening, I recommend doing some light skating before commencing your commuter ride so that your ankles are prepared for any potential fall.
Further to combat accidents, I recommend wearing pads on sensitive areas of your body that could be injured in a fall- knee pads for example.
