Skateboarding law Arkansas: Everything you need to know about

In the state of Arkansas, it is against the law to ride a skateboard without a helmet. According to the Arkansas Legislature, “any person operating a skateboard upon any public roadway, street, sidewalk or parking lot shall wear a properly fitted and fastened bicycle helmet.”

This law was enacted in order to help protect skateboarders from serious injuries in the event of a fall. While some skateboarders may view this law as an inconvenience, it is important to remember that wearing a helmet can help save your life.

In addition to wearing a helmet, skateboarders should also obey all traffic laws and use common sense when riding in order to stay safe.

The legal penalties for breaking these laws are a fine of up to $500 and/or imprisonment for up to 30 days. For anyone under the age of 18, their parents or guardians can also be held liable for any damages caused by their child’s actions while skateboarding.

The use of skateboards and other “skate” type vehicles on sidewalks is not allowed within the business district boundaries of Conway, AR.

The city is responsible for the safety of its citizens, and as such certain laws fall under their jurisdiction. One such law that governs this area involves those who are between 14-years old or younger – if they’re in violation it’s up to parents/guardians can take care on legal responsibility themselves rather than turning them over immediately papertops complying with what you need for a court date.

It is generally illegal to ride your skateboard on public roads, sidewalks, or in other areas where it would interfere with vehicle traffic. Additionally, you should not create any risk for pedestrians who might be crossing over from one side while riding these devices. Motorcycles must wear helmets.
