The trucks are in the middle of being high quality and not great. They will be good for beginners, but it is recommended to upgrade them later on. The wheels have a soft 92a hardness that isn’t ideal outside of skate parks though they are comfortable when riding at one.

The benefit is as you get more used to the board and landing the tricks, it’ll be even easier if you go up a size later on. The wheels are on the softer side, more for cruising and not so much for doing tricks. They are 92a, 52mm. You can still do tricks with them no problem, but just harder to slide on them than a harder wheel. Likewise, the trucks came extremely loose to the point of wheel bite, but after a quick simple tightening, everything was fine. Overall though, for this price this deck is hard to beat for getting into skateboarding.

To get the ABEC-7 bearings to work properly, I just had to adjust them and add some lube. The first couple of rides were a little rough but after that they got smoother and less squeaky than before! They are great on skate parks or pebbled streets because it adds stability when riding fast. Not only does my son think so too, but he also said they perform better now as well.

My son loves the graphics on the bottom, and the grip tape on the top is very grippy.
