Colorado is home to some of the best skateparks in the country. From Denver to Colorado Springs and all points in between, aspiring skaters can find a park that fits their needs. Here are some of the best parks in the state.

Frederick Skatepark:

The Frederick Skate Park is a world-class facility that catchers to skaters of all skill levels. The park features a full street area,ledges,rails,large flow bowl with varying heights, a 1,500 square foot “egg bowl” with a 6-foot deep end, and a 4-foot shallow end with pool coping.

The skate park also has a huge street course with ledges, stairs, rails, and other obstacles. Skatepark also offers a variety of classes and clinics, making it the perfect place to learn how to skate or improve your skills. This skatepark is truly a paradise for skaters of all kinds.

The Frederick Skatepark is a world-class concrete skatepark that opened in October 2020. The 35,000 square foot park was designed and built by Team Pain, one of the premier skatepark design/build firms in the world.  The park is fully lit for night skating and is open until 10:00 PM.

Arvada Skatepark Near Denver, CO:

Arvada Skatepark is an amazing place for skateboarders of all levels. The park features a snake run, large bowl, medium bowl, street plaza with manual pads, banks, granite pieces, benches, hubba ledges, out ledges, flat ledges, rails, flat bars, step ups, stair sets, jersey barrier, brick stamped china bank, quarter pipes, and a pyramid. 

The Arvada Skatepark has a large, open street section that is hard to miss with its amazing diversity of obstacles. Banked turns and vert walls are scattered all over this layout making it perfect for longboarding.

This concrete skatepark is a 40,000 square foot that was built in 2012 by Team Pain. It is one of the largest skateparks in the Denver area and offers a variety of features for skaters of all skill levels. The park is open during daylight hours and has lights for night skating.

Milliken Skatepark:

Milliken Skatepark is a 14,000 square foot skatepark designed by Evergreen Skateparks. This park is great for all levels of skaters and features a variety of transition obstacles including bumps, humps, and flowing lines. Skaters can enjoy endless hours of fun at Milliken Skatepark.

This is a concrete skatepark located in Hillsboro Park in the city of Milliken, Colorado .The skatepark is unsupervised and does not have lights, so it is only open during daylight hours. The park opened in 2014 and it is a great place to practice tricks and meet other skaters in the community.

Denver Skatepark | Longboarding Denver Skatepark:

Denver Skatepark is a 60,000 square foot skatepark that has bowls of various shapes and sizes, a snake run, bank ramps, hips, hubba ledges, out ledges, flat ledges, stairs, rails, and smooth concrete. This skatepark is must visit if you live or are visiting Denver.

This is an amazing flowy skatepark great for longboarding in a skatepark. The size of the skatepark and the amount of great transitions make it a very flowy skatepark, allowing riders to build up speed and maintain it throughout their run,This park is open from 5 am to 11 pm.

Additionally, the street obstacles throughout the park make it an amazing skatepark for street-style skating. The smooth transitions and banked turns inside the bowls are great for pumping and maintaining speed, making this an ideal skatepark for both longboarding and street skating.

Don Anema Memorial Skatepark:

Don Anema Memorial Skatepark is a 16,000 square foot skatepark located in Northglenn, Colorado. The park was built in memory of Don Anema, a local skateboarder and advocate for skateparks. The park features a street course with various obstacles, a small bowl, and a large open space for beginners.

The concrete is smooth and the ramps are well-designed, making it a great place to practice your tricks. And best of all, it is always clean and well-maintained.The park is well-lit and open until 10:00 PM, making it a great place to skate after school or work. 

It was designed by Team Pain, and opened to the public on September 24th, 2011. In short,Don Anema Memorial Skatepark is a great addition to the Northglenn community, and is sure to be enjoyed by skateboarders of all ages and abilities.

Sheridan – Curbside indoor skatepark:

The Sheridan Skatepark is the perfect place to enjoy some indoor skating, regardless of the weather outside.The park offers a variety of features to keep everyone entertained, including a mini ramp, hubbas, A-frame rail and hubba, seven stair rail and hubba, ledges, manual pads and more. 

Curbside Indoor Skatepark is a 5,000 square foot pre-fabricated located in Sheridan, Colorado. The skatepark has lights and is open to skaters of all levels.

Aspen Skatepark is a world-class skatepark located in the heart of downtown Aspen, Colorado. The park is made up of two main sections: the Street Course and the Bowl Course. The Street Course features a variety of obstacles and challenges, including ledges, rails, stairs, and ramps. 

The Bowl Course is a large concrete bowl that is perfect for skaters who enjoy carving and grinding. Both sections of the park are well-maintained and offer skaters a safe and enjoyable experience.

It is consider a 17,000 square foot concrete skateparkand opened in 2000.Itwas designed and built by Team Pain. The park is open during daylight hours and does not have lights for night skating. The surface of the park is concrete, making it a smooth and fast ride.

In addition, the park is surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants, making it easy to take a break from skating and grab a bite to eat. Overall, Aspen Skatepark is a top-notch facility that is sure to please even the most demanding skaters.

Skatepark in Gunnison, CO | Jorgensen Park:

The park is medium sized and made of cement, with a variety of obstacles and features. While it lack vert-specific features, the layout is great for street style skating. The largest wall in the park has a roll-in area that’s perfect for beginners.

In addition, the park has a small dirt pump track next to it, making it a great option for skateboarders of all levels. This 19,000 sq. ft. concrete park is a paradise for skaters of all levels, with plenty of challenges and obstacles to keep you entertained for hours on end. 

The park is also well-lit, so you can enjoy skating even after the sun goes down. And if you get hungry or thirsty, there are plenty of food and drink options close by. So come on down to Jorgensen Park and experience the best skateboarding in Gunnison.


Gunnison Skatepark, Gunnison, CO 81230

Berthoud – Waggener Farm Skatepark:

The Waggener Farm Skatepark in Berthoud, Colorado is a 12,000 square foot skatepark that was designed and built by the team at Pivot Customs. The park features a medium-sized flow bowl complete with a spine, a boulder, and a unique tombstone, as well as a small street section with ledges, stairs, a handrail, euro gap, and a pole jam. 

The skatepark is also in the process of having lights installed. This will be an great addition to the community and will provide a safe place for skaters to enjoy their sport.

Edwards Skatepark:

Edwards Skatepark, located inside Freedom City Park, is one of the largest skateparks in the area. The park is split into two sections – a vert (vertical) section and a street section – each catering to riders of different skill levels. 

Experienced riders will enjoy the smooth transitions and large scale of the vert section, while the street section features many obstacles and challenges. Either way, skaters will have plenty of room to enjoy their time at the park without worrying about interfering with other riders.

Some of the features include a bucket list spot, a spine, a hubba, a curb, and more. The park is also home to a variety of competitions and events throughout the year. With 30,000 square feet of concrete, this park has plenty of room to explore and practice your skills.

There are no lights, so plan your visits around daylight hours. The park was originally built in 2006, with the Cradle Bowl expansion added in 2010.

Given the lack of skateparks in the Green Valley Ranch area of Denver, Colorado,The ARTIFEX team gathered input from local riders to get an understanding of their preferences and used this information to establish the park’s design.

The resulting skatepark is a significant contribution to the region that offers a unique and enjoyable skating experience for all levels of ability.Green Valley Ranch’s skatepark features a variety of obstacles and challenges for skaters of all skill levels.

The park includes a bowl, half-pipe, quarter-pipe, and rails. Beginners can practice their moves on the smaller features, while more experienced skaters can tackle the larger ones. This skatepark is 8,000 square feet and is also well-lit,offers a safe place for skaters to practice after dark.

Roxborough Skatepark:

Team Pain was selected to design and construct the Roxborough skatepark in Littleton, Colorado. The 15,000 square foot facility is geared to all disciplines of skating and features a unique design that complements the surrounding suburbs. 

Team Pain looked forward to the challenge and delivered a well-rounded facility that has become a popular destination for skaters in the area.

The Roxborough skatepark is a world-class skateboarding facility that features a variety of challenges for skaters of all skill levels. The park’s centerpiece is a Roman-style pool complete with pool coping, stairs, death boxes, and a deep end. The pool is surrounded by a flow bowl that is also filled with pool block. 

In addition to the pool, the park also features a street/flow course that includes quarter pipes, banks, tombstones, handrails, and ledges. The skatepark also has a variety of other unique features that make it an ideal destination for both local and visiting skaters.

Superior Skate Park:

Superior Skate Park is a premiere destination for skateboarders, in-line skaters, and BMX/trick bike riders. The park features a variety of ramps, pipes, rails and boxes to challenge riders of all skill levels.

Loveland’s Mehaffey Park Skate Park is a 20,000 square foot concrete skate park that features lights for night skating. The park was designed and built by Team Pain in 2015 and is open daily from 10:00am until 10:00pm.

Breckenridge Skate Park:

The Breckenridge Skate Park is a 4-acre park with 11-foot bowl and other features for skaters of all levels. The skate park is open to youth and adults during daylight hours for free. New features at the park include a snake run, beginner bowl, advanced bowl, and skateable historic mine cart. 

The skate park hosts several competitions throughout the summer months. Skaters of all levels are welcome to compete in the competitions.

Snowmass Village Skatepark:

Louisville Skatepark:

Louisville Skatepark is a world-renowned skatepark located in Rio Grande Pl, Aspen,The park opened on April 5, 2002, and was designed with the input of a local task force. The park is open 24 hours every day, and gained national recognition after the release of Tony Hawk’s Gigantic Skatepark Tour, in which the park was featured.

The Louisville Skatepark features a variety of obstacles and challenges, including a 20,000-square-foot indoor wooden park with bowls, street obstacles, restrooms, water facilities, lockers, showers, and an upstairs skating and viewing platform.

This Skatepark is also home to a number of events and competitions, making it a great place for both serious skaters and those just looking to have some fun.If you’re looking for a gnarly place to shred, this is the park for you.

Thornton – Slocum Skatepark:

The Thornton Skatepark will be a 25,000 square foot concrete skatepark located at Thomas J. Slocum Park. The park is anticipated to open in December 2021 and will be designed and built by Team Pain. 

The skatepark will feature a variety of obstacles and challenges for skaters of all levels, including beginner, intermediate, and advanced. There will also be a section specifically for BMX riders. The skatepark will be open year-round and will be lit for evening skating.

Buena Vista Skate Park:

The Buena Vista Skate Park is a great place for skateboarders and bikers to enjoy themselves. The ledges, rails, and bowls are all great fun, and the park also has special seating for parents so they can watch their children while they skate. 

However, the park doesn’t have any lights, so it’s best to visit during the day. This skatepark is a 9,000 square foot park that features a mini ramp, quarterpipes, a bank ramp, a fun box, ledges and rails. The park does not allow bikes. Helmets are mandatory, but it is not enforced. The park was built by Misiano Skateparks.

Traditions Neighborhood Skatepark:

The Traditions Neighborhood Skatepark is a small, pre-fabricated skatepark located in the Traditions neighborhood of Aurora. The park is approximately 2,000 square feet in size and features a variety of obstacles including rails, ledges, and a mini half-pipe. The skatepark is not lit and is only open during daylight hours.

The park also offers vertical and street skating elements, with a majority of the park focused on street skating. Whether you’re looking to practice your tricks or just have some fun, Clement Skatepark is the perfect place to do it.

It is a concrete skatepark that opened in 2007. It was designed and built by Sean Smith of Team Pain. The park is open from dawn to dusk and is lit up at night, making it a great place to skate any time of day.
