15 Best Skateparks in Nevada

If you’re looking for a great place to skateboard, Nevada is a great option. The weather is usually clear, which makes the skate parks here some of the best around. They’re open all year round, so you can always enjoy a good skate session. Here are our 15 favorite skate parks in Nevada.

Craig Ranch Skatepark

Craig Ranch skatepark is an enormous concrete skatepark featuring 5 bowls and a large street area. The Street Area features a Curb, a Roll-in, Jump boxes, a Corner, an Open bowl, a Quarterpipe, Funboxes, Manualpads, Londongaps, Kickers, Handrails, Flatrails, Ledges, Banks, Stairs, Wallrides, and MiniRamps.

The Bowl Area features a Cradle, Flowparks, Spines, Hubbas, and an enormous bowl with lights for night skating. This is definitely a bucket list spot for every skater.

The Craig Ranch Skatepark is a great place for those who want to learn how skateboard as well as have fun with friends. The shaded areas provide protection from the sun, which means you can spend more time on your board.

Location: 628 W Craig Rd, North Las Vegas, NV 89032.

Hours: 7AM-10PM.

Desert Breeze Park Skatepark

The bowls are especially fun, and the rails and roll in snake run are also great. However, there are a few design issues that could be improved. For example, some of the bowls are a bit chunky and difficult to skate. In addition, the park has aged since it was built in 1996 and could use some updating.

Desert Breeze is a great little skatepark, but it can be a bit dark at night. The park is open until 11pm, but there are no lights over the skate area, so skaters have to use the hockey rink, which is the only place with lights. This can be a bit dangerous, as I found out when I fell and hurt myself in the dark.

However, I take responsibility for my own safety and accept that skating in the dark is a risk I’m willing to take. Overall, this park is a great place to skate during the day, but at night it can be a bit dangerous.

The Burgess Skatepark is consider ideal place to skate with its innovative layout and great environment. However, the ramps are a little rough from years of painting over graffiti and subsequent paint chipping. The environment at Burgess Skatepark is generally good, with plenty of space to skate and a mainly friendly population of skaters.

The park is also well-maintained and always clean, which makes it a great place to spend time with friends. However, I would recommend avoiding the flat spots if you’re riding a skateboard or scooter, as they can be quite slippery.
