10 Best Skateparks in New Hampshire

Looking for a great place to skate in New Hampshire? Look no further than the state’s excellent skate parks. Featuring safe, quality facilities often with no entrance fee, these parks are perfect for beginners and experienced skaters alike. 

From half-pipes to rails to ramps, there’s something for everyone at New Hampshire’s skateparks. So grab your helmet and get ready to have some fun.

Hampton Skatepark

The Hampton Skate Park is a great outdoor concrete skatepark that was built by Wheelscape in 2015. The skate park has 10,000 square feet of space and contains a bowl-style skate park with some wood elements like a half pipe and mini ramp.

Skaters are always welcome at the park and are encouraged to wear safety gear while skating. The skate park is full of unique obstacles, and the center is smooth and great for skating. However, the ground on the outskirts of the skate park is very rough. 

Location: Hardardt’s Way, Hampton, NH 03842.

Hours: 12AM-11:59PM.

Rusty Bearings Skatepark

The Rusty Berrings skatepark is a concrete park that is 14500 square feet. It has a bowl, an openbowl, and a street area. It was opened in 2017. This skatepark has a Spine, Hubba, Curb, Roll-in, Open bowl, Quarterpipe, Manualpad, Londongap, Handrail, Flatrail, Ledge, Bank, Stairs, MiniRamp, Bowl. 

It is free to the public and outside. Pads are recommended but not required. The riding surface is concrete. There is no pro shop on site.There are covered picnic tables, a playground, outhouses, and you can take a walk down by the water. The lights go on at night, so you can skateboard until your heart’s content.

Location: West Lebanon, NH 03784.

Hours: 7AM-11PM.

David W. Deane Skateboard Park

David W. Deane Skateboard Park is a 20,000 square foot transition focused skatepark featuring several bowls. The park was designed by PillarDesign Studios and built by Speedbump. Some of the notable features at the park include the Volcano, Roll-in, Jump box, Quarterpipe, Manualpad, Londongap, Ledge, Bank, and Wallride.

The David W. Deane Park is a banger, with concrete bowls and vert stretches that are perfect for all levels of skaters.It also has lights to light up your night so you can enjoy it even when there’s not enough sun left before 10 pm during the winter months. 

With plenty parking available next door at furthermore grocery store lot across from target-you won’t have any trouble finding space near this awesome facility.

Location: Stadium Drive, Nashua, NH 03062.

Hours: 8AM-10PM.

Red Alert Skatepark

The Red Alert Skatepark in Dover is a great place to skate year-round. They have indoor skating, and the staff is very helpful. My son made an awesome board with their help. The music was great, and I felt at home. I would highly recommend this skatepark to anyone looking for a great place to skate. 

Location: 54 Allen St, Rochester, NH 03867.

Hours: 12-8PM.

Concord Public Skatepark

If you enjoy skateboarding, rollerblading or scootering then this 14000 square meter park is perfect for your needs. It has everything from slides to grinds and every type of obstacle in between. 

All skill levels are catered too so no matter what level beginner skater there may be still challenges waiting around each corner.With enough space available on site large packs food spots rest rooms bathrooms showers etc.

Location: 15 Loudon Rd, Concord, NH 03301.

Hours: Open dawn to dusk.

Plymouth Skatepark 

The Plymouth skatepark is a great place to enjoy the sport of skateboarding. The park offers a variety of features, including ramps, rails, and grind boxes, that are sure to challenge even the most experienced skaters. In addition, the park is well-maintained and offers a safe environment for all skill levels. 

Location: Plymouth,NH.

Hours: Open from dawn to dusk.

Dennis P. Lyons Memorial Skatepark

The park features a variety of obstacles and challenges, including ramps, stairs, rails, and more. The Skatepark is also home to a state-of-the-art skating surface made of Skatelite, which is specifically designed to reduce the risk of injuries.

In addition, the park requires all skaters to wear helmets in order to ensure their safety. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, the Dennis P. Lyons Memorial Skatepark is the perfect place to enjoy the thrill of skateboarding.

Location: 14-24 Village Green, Pelham, NH 03076.

Hours: Open 24 hours.

Candia Skatepark

Candia is a small outdoor skatepark with a wood riding surface. The park doesn’t have much flow, but the features are all in very good condition. There’s a nice ledge over the pyramid that metal and slides very nice. The spine is smooth. All in all, this is a good park, and the features are in good condition, so it’s worth checking out.

Location: High Street/Rt 27 in Candia, NH.

Hours: Open dawn to dusk.

Hopkinton Skatepark

The Hopkinton Skatepark has a lot of vert, and the jumps and rails are well-spaced out. The park is also in a good location, making it easy to get to and from. However, beginners may find the park to be intimidating.

 There are no small jumps or rails, and the vert can be daunting. Nevertheless, this Skatepark is a great option for experienced skateboarders who are looking for a challenging and well-designed park.

Location: 461 Park Ave, Hopkinton, NH 03229.

Hours: 7:30AM-9PM.

Dover Skatepark

Dover skatepark is filled with a variety of concrete DIY features. It has a bowl, spine, cradle, vert wall,and user-made quarter pipes and banks. The quarter pipes and flat banks are great for practicing your tricks, and the funbox with driveways and ledges is perfect for honing your skateboarding skills. 

There are also a few rails, a volcano, and some nice hips that you can use to practice your Rail balance. Overall, Dover skatepark is a great place to visit if you are looking for a fun and challenging skating experience.

Hours: Open from dawn to dusk.
