11 Best Skateparks in Rhode Island

The Rhode Island state legislature is currently considering a bill that would require all new developments with a certain amount of green space to set aside a portion of that space for a skatepark. The reasoning behind the bill is that skateparks provide an important outlet for young people, and can help to reduce crime and vandalism.

While some members of the community have voiced concern that skateparks will attract rowdy teenagers, proponents of the bill argue that the benefits of having a skatepark outweigh the potential risks. Skateparks can provide a safe and positive environment for kids to enjoy, and can help to foster a sense of community. With proper supervision, they can be an asset to any neighborhood.

Rhode Island may be a small state, but it sure has a lot to offer skateboarders. From smooth concrete parks to gnarly street spots, there’s something for everyone. Here are the best skateparks in Rhode Island, based on our personal experiences. Check them out and let us know what you think.
